Rio de Janeiro – A unique city
Few places in the world harmoniously bring both together
a large city and nature. Stunning beaches, some of them wild, an urban forest,
lagoons, waterfalls, and a beautiful bay — all within a single city. Here, all

When thinking of Rio or even Brazil, the
image of Christ the Redeemer is often the first to come to mind. Also iconic is
the famous Sugarloaf cable car, from where one can witness a beautiful meeting

Sugarloaf Mountain Cable Car Park
Inaugurated in 1912, it is the first cable car in
Brazil and the oldest still in operation in the world. It has two lines: the
first with 528 meters and the second with approximately 800 meters. Sugarloaf
Cable Car Park® has become one of the most emblematic tourism icons in Brazil,
having welcomed more than 50 million visitors over its 112 years of history.

The São Paulo Municipal Market is one of the city’s most traditional and important tourist attractions. In addition to its historical relevance, the “Mercadão” offers a gastronomic space where visitors can enjoy everything from simple dishes to gourmet recipes, surrounded by beautiful architecture.
Designed by architect Francisco Ramos de Azevedo
and inaugurated in 1933, the building stands out for its stained-glass windows

Iguaçu National Park provides an immersive
experience in the biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest. Be prepared for
different ways of connecting with nature in this Natural World Heritage Site
recognized by UNESCO. The park is an international reference in sustainable
tourism and biodiversity conservation.
Created in 1939, it received the title of Natural
World Heritage Site granted by UNESCO in 1986. The Iguaçu Falls, located within
the conservation unit, were declared a Natural World Wonder on November 11,
2011, through an international election with votes from people all over the
world.
Iguaçu National Park has received a growing number
of visitors, with more than 1.1 million people by August 2025, surpassing the
numbers of 2024 and recording monthly records, such as August 2025 with 155,780
visitors.

A natural heritage of global

Bird Park is one of the only
institutions in the world focused on the conservation of Atlantic Forest birds.
The birds of the Atlantic
Forest are beautiful, exuberant, and unique, and the park offers its visitors
the opportunity to live an immersive experience of connection with them and the
forests they inhabit. This has made Bird Park the most visited attraction in
Foz do Iguaçu after the Falls.
Bird Park works for a better
world, where people can live in harmony with nature. To achieve this, it
maintains 16 hectares of Atlantic Forest and more than 1,300 birds from around

Plant earned the Guinness World Records title for “Largest cumulative
production of hydroelectric energy.” The certification covers Itaipu’s
production from May 1984, when the first generating unit began operating,
through October 2024.During this period, the binational hydroelectric plant
generated 3.038 billion megawatt-hours (MWh), a record that no other power

1st Day – Salvador
Arrival

2nd Day – Salvador – City Tour: Historical and
Panoramic (08 hours) – with lunch stop
On our Salvador city tour, we depart from the hotel
in the morning heading to the iconic Santo Antônio da Barra Fort, built in 1536
to protect Todos os Santos Bay. In 1698, the fort received the famous Barra
Lighthouse, which is still in operation today and is one of the city’s main
tourist attractions.
Our journey continues along the Vitória Corridor,
passing through the lively Campo Grande Square, which is part of the circuits
of Salvador’s famous Carnival.
We then arrive at Pelourinho, the cultural heart of
the city. Our first stop is Municipal Square, where you can enjoy a stunning
view of the Lower City, including the Lacerda Elevator, vibrant commerce, the
Port of Salvador, and the Mercado Modelo.
We continue to Sé Square, where the ruins of
Brazil’s first Basilica are located, alongside the first Archiepiscopal Palace
of Salvador. We explore Pelourinho Square, the charming Church of Our Lady of
the Rosary of the Black People, and the inspiring Jorge Amado Foundation.
We also visit the magnificent Church and Convent of
São Francisco, a true treasure of Brazilian Baroque art, rich in historical
details, highlighted by the extensive use of gold in its decoration. The church
has three naves and a beautiful altar (entrance fee of R$10.00, subject to
change).
Continuing the tour, we pass several iconic sites
in Salvador, including Rome Square, home to the Monument of Saint Dulce of the
Poor, the first Brazilian saint, and the Social Works of Sister Dulce.
We visit the Church of Bonfim, dating back to the
18th century, an important pilgrimage site. There will be time for prayers and
participation in the ritual of tying colorful ribbons, symbols of faith and
culture.
At Dique do Tororó, we admire the impressive
sculptures of the Orixás, created by artist Tati Moreno, and also see the Fonte
Nova Arena.
At the end of the itinerary, we stop for shopping
at Mercado Modelo, one of the oldest and most traditional commercial areas in
Salvador.
This Salvador tour offers an immersion into the
culture, history, and beauty of the Bahian capital, making it an unmissable
experience for visitors.

Lençóis Maranhenses and Atins (6 nights) –
Departure from the city of São Luís
1st Day – São Luís / Atins
At 08:00, private transfer to Barreirinhas.
Approximate travel time by paved road: 4 hours. Arrival in Barreirinhas and
boarding of a speedboat along the Preguiças River, with stops for walks on the
dunes along the river, heading to the APA (Environmental Protection Area) of
Pequenos Lençóis.
Stop in Vassouras, a typical village of residents
along the Preguiças River. Stop for lunch (not included) and in Caburé.
Continuation to Atins. Disembarkation and transfer to the selected
accommodation. (English-speaking guide)
2nd Day – Atins – Beaches and Lagoons Tour
Departure from Atins in a 4x4 vehicle for a visit
to open-sea beaches, with a swimming stop of approximately 1.5 hours. Leaving
the beach, we cross the dune fields to visit Lagoa do Bode, Lagoa das Sete
Mulheres, and Lagoa do Kait.
On the return, stop for lunch at a local restaurant
(Carminha, Seu Antônio, or Judite), rest, and return to Atins.
3rd Day – Atins – Tropical and Emerald Lagoon Tour
Departure from Atins by 4x4 towards the open-sea
beaches for swimming, with a stop of approximately 1.5 hours. Leaving the
beach, we cross the dune fields to visit the Tropical and Emerald Lagoons.
On the return, stop for lunch at a local restaurant
(Carminha, Seu Antônio, or Judite), rest, and return to Atins.
4th Day – Atins / Barreirinhas
Departure from Atins at 09:00, crossing the dune
fields towards Barreirinhas, passing several lagoons such as Lagoa da Lua,
Lagoa do Toyoteiro, and Lagoa Azul. Stop for lunch at Restaurante da Graça.
After lunch, rest in hammocks and continuation of
the journey to Barreirinhas. Estimated arrival at 17:00.
5th Day – Barreirinhas – Lagoa Azul and Lagoa do
Peixe Circuit
Departure by 4x4 vehicle to visit the Greater
Lençóis Maranhenses. After crossing the Preguiças River by ferry, we travel
approximately 8 km along sandy trails to the base of the dunes surrounding
Lagoa Azul.
We continue on foot to the lagoon, then proceed to
Lagoa do Peixe. Return to the vehicle and then back to Barreirinhas. - Tour
duration: 4 hours.
6th Day – Barreirinhas – Lagoa Bonita Circuit with
Baixa da Onça
Departure by 4x4 vehicle to visit the Greater
Lençóis Maranhenses. After crossing the Preguiças River by ferry, we proceed to
the village of Baixa da Onça.
Disembarkation, walk through the dunes and along
the banks of a small intermittent river near the residents’ village, and swim
in Lagoa da Prata.
Continuation to Lagoa Bonita. Stop for lunch (not
included). After lunch, we climb approximately 35 meters of soft sand, followed
by a mobile dune of about 6 meters, from where Lagoa Bonita can be seen.
The 10-minute walk to the lagoon gives the feeling
of being in a dune desert. Stop for photos and swimming. Return to
Barreirinhas. - Tour duration: 7 hours.
7th Day – Barreirinhas / São Luís
Manaus and Amazon Rainforest (4 nights) – from
Manaus
1st Day – Manaus / Juma Lodge
Shared regular transfer, departure between 06:30
and 07:30 (transfer time varies according to the hotel), transfer to Ceasa Port
and boarding of a boat passing by the “Meeting of the Waters” of the Negro and
Solimões Rivers to the town of Careiro.
Boarding of ground transfer to the embarkation
point for a speedboat to the lodge. The journey alternating between cars and
boats has an estimated duration of 3 hours.
Reception with regional juice and accommodation in
the apartments. After lunch, departure for a reconnaissance tour using rowing
canoes to explore the region. Return to Juma Lodge.
At night, departure by canoe to observe nocturnal
wildlife.
Meeting of the Waters
On the way to Juma Lodge, we pass by the Meeting of
the Waters of the Negro and Solimões Rivers. Their waters run side by side for
a long stretch without mixing, until forming the Amazon River. It is possible
to feel the temperature difference between the rivers.
Rowing Canoe Tour
Reconnaissance tour conducted by rowing canoe
through igarapés (streams) and igapós (flooded forest, more visible during the
high-water season). During the tour, it is possible to swim, observe river
dolphins, and hear the mysterious sounds of the forest.
Night TourAt night, we go out by boat to observe caimans,
frogs, and birds. The guide uses only a flashlight to focus on the animals in
the Amazon darkness, making the tour very exciting. Night sounds are also
impressive, as is the often star-filled sky.
1st Day to 4th Day – Included activities during the
stay at Juma Lodge
Sunrise on the Juma River
During sunrise, we observe the wonderful color
changes of the Amazon sky accompanied by birdsong (our guides have binoculars
for observation).
Forest Walk
This tour, always conducted on little-explored
trails, provides survival notions in the forest, explanations about Amazon
wildlife, and shows plants that are edible, medicinal, and useful for various
purposes.
Piranha Fishing
Boat trip to fish the famous piranha and other
regional fish (fishing is easier during the dry season; during floods, fish
hide in the igapós). Return to the lodge at sunset, often exuberant.
Lecture
At night, the guide gives an informal lecture about
his own life (our guides are natives) and about the customs and legends of
riverside communities, as well as presenting aspects of local fauna and flora.
Forest Walk with Barbecue
After a forest walk (longer, with fewer stops),
lunch based on regional cuisine is served over an open fire. Hammocks are then
set up for rest in the forest.
Visit to a Caboclo House
A caboclo (local native) shares knowledge about
medicinal plants and demonstrates, among other things, how manioc flour is
produced, the main economic activity of the region.
Observation Tower Visit
The Juma region is viewed from the top of the
31-meter-high observation tower. In addition to the beautiful views, it is
interesting to understand how the lodge was built and how sustainability is
managed, highlighting the solar photovoltaic power plant.
5th Day – Juma Lodge / Manaus / Origin
After breakfast, departure to Manaus. Arrival
around 11:00 and transfer to Juma Opera Hotel.
At the end of the day, transfer to the airport for
boarding to the city of origin.
